Bid Writer North West UK This is great opportunity to join one of the most respected construction refurbishment contractors in the UK and play a part in their strategic Business Development bidding function. The business secure large and lucrative framework contracts in a diverse range of refurbishment and fit-out projects across the UK. The role will be to support the national Bid Team who are head office based in a regional capacity, working in the North West UK you will have autonomy to ensure that the Bid proposal is prepared accurately according to the company processes and procedures. The Bid Writer will be responsible for assisting three branch offices based North UK, this role will include PQQ’s, Technical bid Writing and submission of tender documentation. There is a requirement for a Bid Writer to be based either Warrington, Leeds or Newcastle region and be willing to travel between those office locations when required. The position involves working as part of the close team to assist, manage and support the regional Bid operation Key duties of the role include: ·Liaising and working with other professionals within the business in relation to the Bid Process. ·To oversee the Tendering process, ensuring the timely production of draft documentation for sign off by the Directors / Business Development Manager and ensure the timely submission of all documentation. ·Manage resources from operational and commercial teams to coordinate the allocation of input into Tender submissions and the timely return of information. ·Writing quality copy and developing content for tender responses which are tailored to the target. ·Editing and checking all content received to ensure it is of a high standard and tailored to individual client requirements. ·Monitoring the success rate of all Tender submissions. Identifying trends and initiating actions. ·Conducting research and providing feedback and information as required. ·Participating in events and meetings were appropriate ·Create, develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external parties. ·Articulate and confident speaker with excellent verbal and written communication skills. ·Methodical and systematic by nature. ·Results driven and competitive. ·Enjoy working as an effective part of a professional team. ·Presentable and well groomed – a good representative for the company.
