Fire Stopping Works Supervisor/Works Manager The company are a long establish direct refurbishment contractor who work primarily within the refurbishment area of construction. They pride themselves on being one of the UK’s preferred suppliers to local authority housing, private housing associations, major hotel chains, private hospitals, commercial, leisure and industrial premises. The business are looking to add to their professional team a Supervisor/Working Manager who has a background experience plus knowledge of fire stopping. This would be an ideal opportunity for an experienced individual seeking the security of full time employment (PAYE) with a stable, highly respected major direct contractor. You will be responsible for and working alongside other likeminded professionals overseeing a pro-active team, ensuring the company’s excellent fire stopping record is maintained. The post is offered with a basic salary plus the additional benefit of price work. Working with an experienced team you will be highly rewarded for your skills and knowledge. • Candidates will hold a C&G or similar relevant qualification within a trade • Having worked for a direct contractor or sub contractor on large projects previously will be a distinct advantage • Have knowledge of installing fire safety doors, windows, firewall partitioning in various working and living establishments • Ability to work/ manage a team of professional Carpenters and multi skilled operatives • Ability to drive • Knowledge of social housing, private and public sector projects would be an advantage • Ability to use both hand and power tools • Ability to oversee Fire stopping projects and contracts • A minimum of 5 years experience within a qualified trade • Be hard working reliable and committed SMSTS CSCS
