Passive Fire Protection Surveyor Due to continuing success and the growth of our national direct refurbishment contractor they are now in a position to offer this exciting full time employed opportunity for a Passive Fire Protection Surveyor As a Passive Fire Protection Surveyor you will be responsible for conducting site based Compartmentation surveys once the Fire Risk Assesment has been completed. Working within a variety of sectors, including industrial, commercial and residential within a specified timescale, using bespoke technology to collect data via a tablet. Training will be provided on its specific use and software application. The role will require Passive Fire Protection Surveyor to:- •Undertake regular communication with Client’s to co-ordinate programmes of inspections and remedial works. •Ensure buildings conforms to the latest Fire Related building regulations and technical standards. •Taking particulars on site, writing up schedules of works and relating findings to other team members who will prepare and submit relevant information and quotations to clients. what we need from you: To be successful in your application for our Passive Fire Protection Surveyor position you will need to be fully conversant or have a good understanding with current fire safety knowledge and an understanding of fire regulations. The role will require travel to clients property/premises within your specific region. We anticipate that the Passive Fire Protection Surveyor role within the business will grow and develop; therefore initial and on-going training in areas where knowledge may be limited will be fully supported by the business. We acquired a trainee Import Clerk from the company, who were very professional in the way they conducted business and kept in regular contact with us regarding the situation of the candidate. KPM also had available an intense two week one-on-one training course for the candidate at a reasonable rate. The course detailed fundamentals within the shipping industry and the completion of Customs entries and associated topics. We found the training to be of a high standard and well organised. It also enabled other members of staff to continue the daily office task's while the candidate received the training from KPM, thus avoiding a loss in productivity. The training gave the candidate a thorough grounding in the completion of Customs entries and confidence to continue when the training was over. A working manual was also given to the candidate from KPM and a helpline for any questions etc that the candidate may have. We would certainly use this company again in the future for any additional staff and training that may arise.
