JOB ROLE TITLE: Marketing Designer
JOB PURPOSE: To work with the Marketing Manager to develop and mange a content strategy, for use across multiple marketing channels.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Manage and develop BD / third party initiatives with practice areas (eg third party networking events) - Manage the advertising schedule, and ensure content/artwork is pulled together for deadlines - Work with the firm’s PR agencies, to deliver PR/ press stories, and to ensure this content is cascaded out via multiple channels - Draft, write, review, edit written content for different collateral / marketing assets - Work with the digital co-ordinator to produce digital content for the website and campaigns - Support range of events – from third party conferences, networking events, sponsored events, internal events - Produce powerppoint & multimedia presentations, in line with the firm’s brand guidelines - Produce a monthly report for the Marketing Manager for their area of work - Experience of managing and working with external suppliers - Lead and manage the firm’s annual legal directory submissions (Legal 500 and Chambers) - Identify and project manage Awards submissions for the firm - Support tenders & pitches - Work collaboratively with other marketing team members to deliver key projects, as required.
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 5-7 years’ marcomms experience, ideally within a professional services environment (law) or B2B. - Broad/generalist skills & experience across the full marketing required (breadth & depth of experience) - Strong copywriting / copy-editing skills - High standard of written and verbal English, including strong proof-reading skills - Experience with InDesign, Page plus (or similar software) desirable - Experience with Hubspot (or similar software) desirable - Significant experience of managing small and large-scale marketing projects - Degree level, plus CIM qualification - 5-7 years’ marcomms experience, preferably in professional services (law) or B2B. - Broad experience across the full marketing mix - Strong project management skills - Significant experience writing, reviewing & editing copy - Strong proof reading skills Personal skills: - Proactive, motivated, results-oriented - Strong communication skills, with ability to work with stakeholders at all levels across the business - Must be able to multi-task, be highly organised and to prioritise deadlines & projects - Able to work autonomously and lead/mentor team.
